Neglected to vote, but wants to govern

By February 18, 2009 No Comments

Meg Whitman wants to run for governor, and fix CA but she has neglected to vote many time according to Channel 2 News.
I don’t understand how someone who has chosen not to participate in the electoral process wants to run the state.
Perhaps we wouldn’t be in such a mess if more people had chosen to get involved instead. She doesn’t vote but wants people to vote for her?

Why didn’t she vote? Does she believe in the voting process or is it only when she wants to be governor. I confess that I didn’t vote until I was in my late twenties. I didn’t understand the importance and the process years ago. But this woman is not in her twenties and has benefitted from the electoral system.

I hope she explains herself, Voting is not just for the “little people,” but it is our responsibility as Americans in a democratic society. Perhaps Channel was mistaken.

As “The Inclusionist,” I know that the more people feel included, the more they participate and control their lives.
